As a faith-based organization, it is the mission of Midwest Food Bank to alleviate hunger and poverty by gathering and distributing food donations to not-for-profits and disaster sites without cost to the recipients. They are committed to serving those in need all over the state of Indiana and beyond. Today, the Indianapolis Division provides food to an estimated 60,000 individuals through 230 agencies in 43 Indiana counties.

The O’Connor House’s mission is to operate a Christian residential home to help struggling single pregnant women choose life for themselves and their children. It provides ongoing daily support as well as specific educational programs and other types of instruction to help residents eventually become self-supportive.

Outreach, Inc., reaches out with the love of Christ to help homeless and runaway youth find a safer and more stable life. Every week their street outreach teams search in abandoned buildings, parks, and under bridges for youth to help provide them with holistic social services, a drop-in center, case management, and emergency referral services.

A ministry of Central Indiana Youth for Christ, Parent Life is a relational ministry that seeks to change the lives of young parents and their children through authentic mentoring relationships with caring adults. Through creative programming, Parent Life emphasizes making the “next right choice” in relationships, education, parenting, and pursuing Jesus to make the most of their circumstances.

Wheeler Mission is a non-denominational, Christian, social services organization which provides an environment for women and children in crisis that is safe physically, emotionally, and spiritually. While staying at the center, the women are given Biblical counseling, job readiness training, job leads, educational assessment and tutoring, medical services, addiction counseling, and encouragement to enter a long-term residential program.
