Mentoring 1.0 Class

Dr. Amy Sherman, nationally recognized author will be speaking on developing the characteristics of a good mentor, building a mentee’s resiliency, and sharing the Christian faith. Also speaking will be Ben Evans, Director of External Agency Affairs at the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration. He will provide an overview of the most frequently used agencies (TANF, Section 8, CCDF), navigating the Social Services system, and benefit guidelines.
Target audience: A less experienced mentor or someone considering answering the call for this much-needed volunteer role. This class is open to all Kaleos as well as all others involved in ministry work.
